Do I need to know how to code?
Command line basics is enough. If you can SSH into a server and run a one-line install command, you're ready. This is not a programming course.
What hardware do I need?
A Mac Mini or any VPS with 8GB+ RAM. An M1/M2/M4 Mac Mini is ideal. It runs 24/7 on about $0.01/hour in electricity and fits in a drawer.
How long until I have something actually running?
Module 1 ends with a working agent on your hardware. Most people get there in 2 to 3 hours. The full capstone system (daily briefings, multi-agent routing) is Module 4.
What will API costs be?
Typical setups run $5 to $15/month on Anthropic's API. Module 4 covers cost optimization explicitly: routing cheap models for routine tasks, expensive models only when needed.
